I need your help - Tarragona

OK Readers, I am coming cap in hand asking for your advice and help.

I need to do some market research on recruitment activity in Tarragona, Spain and the type of engineering companies there. Who supplies them with contingency and permanent staff? Where do the engineers come from? Are there language issues (Catalán)? What are the typical salary structures? What types of recruitment is going on.

I would simply call Ernst and Young, pay a few million Euros and have the results "tout suite". Unfortunately I have left my wallet at home. Can anyone advise me how to commence and structure this research?
