False Friends

There is a list of words in Spanish that are there to trip you up. they are called False Friends

1. Constipado means having a cold, not from having a meat rich diet.
2. Sensible does not mean sensible but sensitive
3. Sensitivo means  sensible, what a mess!
4. Carpeta is folder, do not order 10 square meters!
5. Exito - Do not go through that door, it means success
6. Elaborado is not elaborate, or even complicated, it is just made.
7. Abogado is a very expensive green fruit. In fact it is a lawyer or solicitor (US False Friend?)
8. Arena is not a stadium, but is sand. Maybe from the Torros?
